I took an eye test after getting some eye strain from working on a PC. The optitian gave me a mild prescription of +0.5 / +0.5. Not having worn glasses before I tried some on in the shop, a basic pair were not far from £100 with coatings, the rimless ones I liked were nearer £300. I had a quick search on the internet and found this site. A lot of frames to choose from, but I found some similar to the high street ones for £25. Entering details was straightforward, and a few days later I received them well packaged and in a smart case as well.
I have recommended this site to my friends who can't believe I got a pair of decent glasses so easily.
